Along with the increasing popularity of hybrid electronic vehicles and green energy generation, the need for efficient energy transformation further motivates development of substitute materials like Silicon Carbide and Gallium Nitride.
According to the latest report from Yole, driven by the SiC-based power devices market, the n-type SiC substrates market will grow from around $35M in 2014 to $110M in 2020, with a 21% CAGR.
