The emptying device for a steel bottle has a release unit (13) with a locking protrusion (31) fitting through a side hole (121) in one end of a housing (1) into a side recess (221) in a pusher (22). The locking protrusion is released by the operation of a magnetic valve (32), whereby the released pusher, and with it an impact needle (21), is shifted against the restoring force of a compression spring (23) in the direction of the bottle so that a seal (92) in the neck (91) of the bottle is broken to let gas into the bottle.
