內容摘要 In the study, the tooling design and processing of a hollow curvature composite structure are developed. A hybrid method of vacuum assisted resin infusion molding (VARIM) and blowing bag is used to make a hollow curvature composite structure. A hybrid layup of 24k T300 carbon fiber braided tube and multi-axial L500 E-glass fiber fabric is used as the loading fiber. A commercial 8603/8604 epoxy resin is used as matrix. First, a polyethylene (PE) tube bag is inserted by the other one. The outer one is used for VARIM to get vacuum and let resin flow in the mold. The inner one is used for air blowing in to get higher inner pressure and press the fiber layup to get better wetting. Then, the hybrid layup of carbon fiber braided tube and multi-axial L500 E-glass fiber fabric is laid up and warped the PE tube bags by the designed sequence. Also, the dimension of layup and sequence are optimized and tapered by loading requirement. The layup is put into the mold and injected epoxy resin by VARIM. As the resin is injected and overflowed from the vacuum ports, the air is pressed into the inner PE tube bag. After cured and de-molded, a hollow curvature composite structure is get. The hybrid layup and VARIM are easily reproduced under well controlling with less labor work. Therefore, the tooling design and processing of a hollow curvature composite structure is fully developed and much better than other composite processing method.
