內容摘要 Manufacturing and static test of two different composite square beams made from T700 unidirectional (UD) and T300 3k plane weave (PW) carbon fiber prepreg are investigated. The IDEAS and MSC/NASTRAN for Windows V4.5 analysis programs are used to build the structure finite element model and solve the problem. The strength and critical failure location are analyzed by the maximum strain and first ply failure criteria. The composite square beams are manufactured by blowing method up to 100 psi pressure with a matched die mold at a hot press machine. Static tests are performed and compared with those of analyses. Test data show that the first ply failure criterion for T700 UD composite square beam is too conservative, but it is more accurate for T300 3k PW.
